Simbowe Stars FC has been involved in a road accident while returning from their FDH Bank Cup Preliminary Round match against Chilumba Barracks at Rumphi Stadium on Saturday, July 5, 2025.
The accident occurred at Chipokawoli Bridge,leaving two individuals injured and are currently receiving treatment at Rumphi District Hospital.
The Northern Region Football Association has confirmed the tragic incident and extends thoughts and prayers to the injured, their families, and the entire Simbowe Stars FC team during this difficult time.
